Acorn Springs Care Group
Growing together.
Keeping care personal.
Four distinctive care homes connected by shared expertise, stronger support and a commitment to dignity, choice and everyday quality of life. We strengthen what each local team can deliver while protecting the identity, relationships and familiar routines that make every home feel individual.
Local character. Shared expertise. Care first.
Our homes
One group. Every home has its own story.
From a small residential home in Plymouth to established nursing settings in Bedford, Folkestone and Southsea, each home keeps the identity and relationships that make it special.
Families can compare locations and types of support while still getting a clear sense of the people, surroundings and everyday life within each service. Our role as a Group is to reinforce local leadership with shared resources, specialist input and a wider network of experience.

What matters to us
Care that feels personal, supported by a stronger group.
We bring knowledge, systems and oversight together while keeping decisions close to residents, families and home teams.
That means giving managers access to practical support, learning from experience across the Group and following through when something can be improved. Group consistency should strengthen safe care without removing the local judgement and personal relationships on which good homes depend.
Our approach and valuesCare with dignity
Respecting each person’s choices, routines and individuality in everyday decisions. Care plans should reflect the person, and day-to-day support should protect privacy, independence and self-respect.
Local character
Protecting the familiar relationships and community connections that make each home distinctive. We want residents and relatives to recognise the home they chose, even as wider support develops around it.
Shared learning
Helping teams exchange good practice, build confidence and reach specialist support quickly. Learning from one service can become practical improvement across the Group without losing local relevance.
Accountability
Clear ownership, reliable follow-through and residents’ wellbeing at the centre of decisions. Concerns should be understood, actions tracked and progress communicated openly to the people affected.
“The best care is built around the person, not the process.”Our group approach
Choosing care
A clearer path for families.
Each home page brings together the details families need: care types, manager introduction, legal provider, live CQC information, independent reviews, location and a direct enquiry route.
Online information is only a starting point. We encourage families to speak with the home, describe the person behind the care need and arrange a visit wherever possible, so suitability can be considered thoughtfully and questions can be answered by the people who know the service.
